A Rigorous & Rewarding Path to Facilitate Transformation & Healing 

The path to becoming a Trainer offers an in-depth, structured journey under the guidance and mentoring of Melanie McGhee, L.C.S.W.

This journey will equip you to lead with confidence, humility, and a deep understanding of AAIT™ principles, phases and processes we use for personal, professional, and spiritual practice. 

Why Become a Facilitator of Learning AAIT™? 

Facilitating lasting change and healing is a calling. As a facilitator of learning AAIT™, you will make an enduring impact on the lives of therapists, coaches, spiritual directors, and their clients by sharing your experience and wisdom about the study and practice of AAIT™.

This role is for those who are dedicated to deepening their embodiment practice, honing their skills as facilitators of learning, and helping others access rapid, durable transformation. 

Your Path to Facilitating Courses in AAIT™ 

Phase 1: Apprenticeship in the Fellowship Training Group (FTG) 

  • Attend pre- and post-training session meetings with your Principal Trainer.

  • Deepen your understanding of AAIT™ principles, processes, and the SERVE model.

  • Develop your ability to troubleshoot and respond to students with grace, humility, and curiosity. 

Phase 2: Embodied Practice and Skills Refinement 

  • Maintain a consistent embodiment practice (minimum of 5 days a week). 

  • Stay current by reviewing videos in the FTG Skills Lab.

  • Cultivate skills for offering and receiving feedback using the feedback cookies method. 

Phase 3: Leadership in Action

  • Demonstrate your skills in facilitating processes and protocols used in AAIT™.

  • Adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse learners.

  • Support group learning with intuition and responsiveness. 

Key Qualifications

To apply for the Trainers journey, you must:

  • Have completed Foundations, FTG, and Foundations Trainers Training.

  • Served as tech support or taken a refresher FTG.

  • Be a licensed mental health professional or certified coach / spiritual director.

  • Have a strong history of using AAIT™ in personal and professional practice.

  • Possess teaching and group facilitation skills.

  • Fully participating in all training sessions and completing training assignments including protocol reviews and essays.

  • Complete Trainer’s Application

  • Meet with a Principal Trainer: Review the requirements and begin your apprenticeship in the FTG. 

  • Engage with and Expand the Community: Participate in gatherings of the AAIT™ community.
